Due to the requirement to use lead-free flux paste under different process conditions, the issue of cleaning process impact is being addressed more and more. In view of previous studies, the peak temperature of most alternative solder pastes is about 34 °C higher than that of tin-lead solder pastes, which may cause more oxidation and flux polymerization reactions, which make the flux residues in the soldering process.
